We are looking for daring and innovative ideas that will help Canada show solidarity and emerge stronger from the current difficult situation caused by the coronavirus. In a 48h online Hackathon, we want to develop functional digital or analogue prototypes to counter the virus with tangible solutions. For this to work, the #TogetherVsVirus Hackathon needs a strong, diverse community. That means people with very different perspectives and abilities. You do NOT need to be a programmer or hacker to contribute.
Inspired by some online Hackathon against Covid that are happening in Europe (Germany, Switzerland), we decided to launch our Canadian version of it.

Pour que cela fonctionne, le #TogetherVsVirus Hackathon a besoin d'une communauté forte et diversifiée. Cela signifie que les participants ont des perspectives et des capacités très différentes. Il n'est donc PAS nécessaire d'être un programmeur pour contribuer.
Inspirés par certains hackathons en ligne contre Covid qui se déroulent en Europe (Allemagne, Pologne, Suisse), nous avons décidé de lancer notre version canadienne.

Do you want to work together with others on a creative solution for a current challenge in the context of the Corona crisis and make a meaningful contribution to society? Are you a motivated citizen, a creative mind, a problem-solver or a programmer? Do you have internet access and an email address? And understand English? Then register now and get actively involved!
Requirements
Our main communications are on Slack, where teams will come together and can see the activity.
You need to have agreed to our Terms and Conditions, joined a team in the online community, and made demonstrable progress during the course of the weekend.
Further evaluation criteria and submission tips will be announced to participants through Slack.
